PPM5900 would like to introduce Derbyshire athlete, Lara Walters. Lara started the Korean martial art of Taekwondo in 2012 at the age of 10. At the age of 15 she represented England at the Taekwondo World Championships in the Netherlands. On that occasion she returned home with the Silver Medal after the tightest of contests was settled by the judges’ split decision.
In October 2018 Lara is aiming to go one better, and bring back the Gold. Lara will be part of the England team, travelling to Poland to compete in the ITF European Championships.
