We’ve got a baby business and we’re going to see how it grows

Sometimes we use the works of Peter Drucker for inspiration.  Business wise, he nails it every time.  A point on new business ventures contends they are not paid to reform customers.  The product or service is defined by the customer’s requirements, not the producer’s.  What the business must do is to see unexpected successes as opportunities.

It seems obvious but how often do we explain what we do, rather than asking what is needed?

Maybe we think we must define with absolutes what our customers will receive from us.  But what if that’s not what they want?  So, flexibility and fluidity are key to the business offer.  Especially so with a new business, where adaptability should be at the core of everything.

At PPM5900 we’re taking our first infant steps.  We’ve nailed the crawling, thanks for asking – we did that a while ago.  Now, we’re wobbling at speed and it’s amazing, fun and thrilling.  We’ve nailed our adaptability flag to the mast.

Let’s charge this baby up and see where it goes!
